The Oak Craftsman was started by Pete a couple of years ago after a friend had a piece of worktop left over from the new kitchen being installed. Knowing I was handy with my hand he asked me to cut the worktop into chopping board sized pieces and maybe engrave something into it. The results (pictured on the left) speak for themselves.

From then on it snowballed and soon we were being asked to make chopping boards for other friends, friends of friends and friends of friends of friends! We took some of the chopping boards, new cheese boards and a few other freshly made ideas to a Christmas Fair. It was a huge success with lots of sales and plenty of interest so the decision was taken to sell to the wider public. 

And the rest, as they say, is history
